1. Cold Saw – Most versatile, excellent end finish, low to moderate volume
2. Band Saw – High or low volume. Great for large sizes or cutting bundled material. Produces lots of chips.
3. Shear – High volume. Each size needs it own set of tools. Will result in end deformation.
4. Double Cut Shear – High volume. Each size needs it own set of tools. No end deformation.
5. Laser – Equipment is expensive but can produce an excellent finish and very precise end cut. Can also produce unusual ends
